After successful completion of the prescribed course and passing the ALL INDIA TRADE TEST (AITT) conducted by National Council for Vocational Training. New Delhi, Govt. of India our trainees've been employed in different private and public sectors like Railway, Ordinance Factory(Saintala, Bolangir, a Govt. Of India organization), NALCO, L&T, Maruti Udyog, M/s. Birla Tyres, OSWAL, AIIMS and Paradeep Port, etc. and have brought glory to the institute . Some of the successful trainees are assisted to avail PMRY Loan through DIC. Puri for different small and cottage industries.
At present, most of our trainees are working in public & private sector in and around our state have brought glory to us having a quite happy living with maxium income per month.

Candidates for training should be ordinarily minimum of 14 years of age as on date of starting of the admission session. There will be no upper age limit.
A candidate should be free from evidence of any contagious of infectious disease. He/ she should have Height : 137cms. (minimum), Weight : 25.4 Kgs. (Minimum), Chest : After Expansion shuld not be less than 32 inches & Eye sight : Standard vision 6/13 without glasses in both eyes. Candidates with vision in one eye shall be rejected.
N.B : A certificate to this effect should be submitted by the candidates selected for admission at the time of admission.
Selection is purely on merit of marks in the qualifying examinations. If required the candidates should be interviewed or through the entry test specially designed for the purpose by the trade allotted shall be intimated through Registered Post for admission.
Reservation of seats for SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman and others has been made as per Gove. of Odisha reservation rules and stipend as prescrived by Govt.in Welfare Dept. will be awarded through proper application
Candidates selected for admission are required to report with his/her father/ guardian (incase father isn't alive) from admission to the Principal, Sailabala Memorial I.T.C., Nimapara witheir following documents (in original).
On joining the training institure, the selected candidates will ve required to give an undertaking to abide by the discipline of the institure, take care of the tools and equipments entrusted to their charfe, not to discontinue as may be prescribed by the institure.
If they fail to ful fill the terms of undertaking, the instutute will have the right to recover from the expenses incurred on their training or such less amount as thery may deem it.
To guard against loss/ Damage to tools and equipments etc, entrusted to the charge of trainees will be required to deposite the maintenance money @ Rs. 500/- and caution money @ Rs. 100/- (refundable) before starting of practical. A second amount may also be asked if the first has been exhausted. The caution money is refunded to trainees on the completion of training after deduction of institure dues (fees and fines) if any.
The AITT in two semistar for one year and four semistar for two years will be conducted by the national Council for vocational Training (NCVT), New Delhi after completion of the prescribed period of training for eligible trainees and successful trainees will be awarded the Provisional National Trade Certificate(PNTC) immediately by SCTE&VT, Odisha soon after declaration of the rasult. NTC(s) will be issued by NCVT, New Delhi in due course not in the un-affiliated trades/ units. The National Trade Certificates are recognized posts and services under the Gove. Of India for which Certificate in Craftsmanship is prescribed as the requisite qualification.
The Certificates will be awarded in a convocation ceremony in each year.
On successful completion of prescribed period of training, the meritious trainees will be provided Aprentice training in various industries by Ministry of Skill Development.
